Redvers motorhomes have expanded the company to encompass all aspects of repairs including: MOT testing of motorhomes, american motorhomes, american rv’s, vans and cars. We also offer motorhome cab air conditioning and Servicing just to name a few of our services that we operate from our 6,000 sq. ft workshop. We have just invested in a new 12 tonne jacking beam to accompany our other 3 tonne jacking beam in our 10 meter prefabricated MOT inspection pit.
Everyone who uses a motorhome on the road is required to keep it in a roadworthy condition. The purpose of the MOT Test is to ensure that motorhomes, and other vehicles are checked at least once a year to see that they comply with key road worthiness and environmental requirements. The MOT is a highly specialised examination of the majority of the safety-related components on a motorhome to ensure that they have not worn to such an excessive level so as to render the motorhome unsafe for the road. The test also includes a test on the motorhome exhuast emissions. The UK MOT test now covemot swidnonrs over 150 checks of safety-related and emissions systems.
The MOT test centre at Redvers offers MOT testing 5 days a week, onsite in our own fully equipped, VOSA approved computerised and automated motorhome MOT testing station. All MOT tests are carried out by one of our fully qualified MOT testers. We can provide testing for nearly all makes and models of Class 4, 5 & 7 vehicles, including Cars, Light Goods Vehicles, Stretched motorhomes, Motor Homes and Large American RV’s. We operate MOT testing for all petrol, diesel, and catalyst motohomes up to 40 ft in length.
